Bringing the iconic Speedmaster legacy to life with life-size replicas of the Apollo Lunar Roving Vehicle and Neil Armstrong’s Spacesuit
Gurugram, July 2026: Reinforcing its position as a destination for premium retail and immersive brand experiences, Ambience Mall, Gurugram is hosting OMEGA’s Lunar Exploration installation in India for the first time. Running from 6th July to 20th July, the showcase brings the legendary story of the OMEGA Speedmaster Moonwatch to life through an immersive recreation inspired by mankind’s historic journey to the Moon.
For the first time in the country, visitors can witness life-size replicas of the iconic Apollo Lunar Roving Vehicle (LRV) and Neil Armstrong’s spacesuit, set against a recreated lunar landscape that celebrates one of humanity’s greatest achievements in space exploration. The installation offers an engaging experience that blends history, innovation and luxury craftsmanship, while highlighting OMEGA’s enduring association with NASA’s space missions.
The showcase commemorates the remarkable legacy of the OMEGA Speedmaster, the first watch worn on the Moon during the Apollo 11 mission in 1969. Certified by NASA for all manned space missions since 1965, the Speedmaster remains one of the most celebrated chronographs in the world.
Adding to the experience, visitors can explore dedicated Speedmaster product displays and capture memorable photographs within the immersive lunar setting, making it a unique attraction for watch enthusiasts, luxury shoppers, families and space aficionados alike.

Arjun Gehlot, Director, Ambience Group, said, “At Ambience Mall, we are committed to curating experiences that transcend conventional retail and create meaningful engagements for our visitors. We are delighted to host OMEGA’s first-ever immersive lunar exploration installation in India, bringing an iconic global brand story to Indian audiences. This collaboration reflects our commitment to offering exclusive, world-class experiences that celebrate innovation, craftsmanship and heritage, while further strengthening Ambience Mall’s position as the preferred destination for luxury brands and discerning consumers.”
The centrepiece of the installation is the Apollo Lunar Roving Vehicle (LRV), the revolutionary electric vehicle that enabled astronauts to travel farther across the Moon during NASA’s final three Apollo missions. Equipped with four electric motors, wire-mesh wheels and advanced navigation systems, the LRV significantly expanded scientific exploration on the lunar surface and remains an enduring symbol of human ingenuity.
Complementing the Rover is a meticulously recreated replica of Neil Armstrong’s Apollo-era spacesuit, paying tribute to the astronauts whose courage and determination shaped one of history’s defining moments.
With this landmark India debut, Ambience Mall continues to reinforce its leadership in experiential luxury retail by bringing globally celebrated brands and exclusive activations closer to Indian consumers.
