Hyderabad, July 2nd, 2023: The Rotary Club of Jubilee Hills began the first day of the Rotary Year 2023-24, with a service project. A Free Eye Camp for Children and Adults was conducted by a team of doctors from the super specialty eye hospitals, Diya Pediatric Eye Care and Dr. Akbar Super Speciality Hospitals at the Navodaya Nagar Anganwadi, Borabanda, Hyderabad. Over 185 patients including 150 kids and 35 adults, availed the service and benefitted from the Camp.
It is of enormous pride for Rotary Club of Jubilee Hills (RCJH) and a successful kickstart for the Rotary Year 2023-24. This camp is the harbinger to many more such initiatives in the days to come. We express immense gratitude to Rotarian Dr Sushma of Diya Pediatric Eye Care and Rotarian Dr Altaf of Dr. Akbar Super Specialty Hospitals for coming forward to conduct the free eye camp, says Dr Jyothi Reddy, President, Rotary Club of Jubilee Hills.
Besides Board of Directors, members of RCJH and prospective members, Dr Jyothi Reddy, President; Vajrala Raja Gopal, Secretary; Laxmi Visireddy, Director, Service Projects; overall sixteen members from RCJH, graced the occasion.
