MediElaj is building a new first point of healthcare access through AI-powered health kiosks. Instead of visiting a clinic for basic checks, people can walk up to a nearby kiosk and get a multi-parameter health assessment in under 5 minutes. What makes MediElaj different is that it doesn’t just show readings—it interprets the data using AI, flags risks, and guides users on what to do next. The goal is simple: make healthcare instant, proactive, and available where people already are. In this manner, MediElaj, which prioritises early detection and regular check-ups, not only brings the novelty of a healthy lifestyle to people’s doorsteps but also leads them on a journey toward proper health maintenance.
India is marked by a few major health sector issues like limited access to timely diagnostics, overburdened hospitals and, above all, a reactive care culture. Inconvenience, cost and time are usually the reasons for skipping a health check-up, eventually resulting in late diagnosis. MediElaj solves this by creating a distributed diagnostic layer outside hospitals, where people can check their health regularly, get diagnosis through AI Doctor(along with diagnostic test) without friction at the kiosk and through phone. Besides aiming at giving more importance to the prevention and early detection, the company is also contributing towards easing the burden on urban healthcare systems.
We position MediElaj as a decision-support and screening system, not a replacement for doctors. MediElaj mainly relies on AI in healthcare; hence, accuracy and data security are our highest priorities. The platform uses clinically validated models and maintains strict quality oversight to provide reliable insights. Precision is consistently enhanced by utilising real-world data and guidance from experts. Additionally, MediElaj ensures the safety of data by following regulations such as DPDP and installing secure systems for the protection of user information. MediElaj is still in its early growth stage and has already witnessed promising traction. The platform has surpassed 100,000 app downloads, which indicates that users are highly interested in quick and accessible healthcare solutions. Moreover, its first pilot physical kiosk has helped more than 200 patients, demonstrating demand in the real world. Besides, the company is not only building but also strengthening partnerships with the enterprise sector and institutions to open more deployment avenues, thereby paving the way for scalable growth across multiple regions in India.
MediElaj’s future plans are to dramatically increase the accessibility of preventive healthcare throughout India. In the near future, we shall be increasing the number of our kiosks to Tier 1, 2, and 3 cities, with a particular emphasis on the underserved areas. Simultaneously, we will be enhancing our AI systems to give more personalised and predictive health information. In addition, we intend to intensify our collaboration with enterprises and public health systems to reach even larger populations. In the end, we aspire to make fast, affordable, and proactive healthcare so commonplace that millions of people will regard it as a standard part of their lives. Our goal is to build India’s largest preventive healthcare network.
