Reliance Jio Infocomm Chairman Akash Ambani on Wednesday said that the country’s largest telecom company is working with the Indian Institute of Technology-Bombay to launch the ‘Bharat GPT‘ programme.
He also said that a unit of Reliance Industries is also looking to launch an operating system for television and has been working on it for some time. Let us tell you that Akash Ambani went to the institute’s annual techfest, where while speaking he said that creating an ecosystem of development is very important for the company, and work on the vision of Jio 2.0 is already underway.
Bharat GPT program will start
• Talking about the partnership between Jio and the leading technical school, Akash said that we are working on a project with IIT Bombay to launch the Bharat GPT programme.
• He also said that for now, we have just scratched the surface with large language models and generative AI and the next decade will be defined by these applications.
There will be change with AI products and services
• Ambani said that AI will transform every area of products and services and we are working very hard to launch AI not only within our organization but in all our areas. He said the company will launch products and services in the media sector, commerce, communications and tools.
• Ambani said that we have been working on our own OS (operating system) for TV for some time now and we are thinking extensively about how to launch it.
