Student Designers Showcase Hand-Painted Creations, Traditional Crafts, Home Décor and Designer Wear in Hyderabad
Hyderabad, September 2026: Arnitha Institute of Fashion Design (AIFD), Tarnaka, Hyderabad, organised Handicrafts & Fashion Exhibition showcasing the creativity, craftsmanship and innovative work of its upcoming fashion designers. The exhibition will continue until September 20, 2026, and is open to visitors from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The exhibition was graced by Dr. Vasudha Rani, Director, Panineeya Mahavidyalaya, and N. Vasantha Nagarakanti, President, Vasavi Clubs International, Vidyanagar, and Founder of Vasudhas Boutique.
The exhibition features a diverse range of student creations, including hand-painted dresses and sarees, jute crafts, home décor, pot decoration, designer garments, fashion accessories, western and traditional wear, and several other creative products.
The three-day exposition provides a platform for young designers to present their creative work to the public while gaining practical exposure to product presentation and marketing. The initiative also enables students to interact with visitors and understand consumer interests and preferences in the fashion and handicrafts sectors.
Speaking on the occasion, Jenny Costella, Director, Arnitha Institute of Fashion Design (AIFD), said that exhibitions of this nature provide valuable opportunities for students to develop their marketing and presentation skills alongside their design abilities. The exhibition brings together fashion, handicrafts and traditional artistry, offering visitors an opportunity to explore and support original creations developed by aspiring fashion designers.
She appealed to fashion enthusiasts, designers, students and the general public to visit the exhibition and encourage the creative talents of the upcoming generation of designers.
