Content creator Apoorva who recently moved to New York to pursue her MBA at Stern, NYU checked another box off her New York to-do list as she attended her first New York Fashion Week show from the front row, and honestly, she looked every bit like she belonged there.
Apoorva attended the show for Nazranaa, the New Jersey-based South Asian bridal boutique known for its custom-designed wedding and bridalwear. Established in 2012, Nazranaa describes itself as the largest South Asian bridal boutique in the US, with a strong focus on bespoke and custom-made pieces. Apoorva was also styled and dressed by the brand for the occasion, wearing pieces exclusively from Nazranaa’s collection.
For the occasion, Apoorva wore a stunning shimmery ensemble from the brand, featuring a glamorous embellished corset-style top paired with a flowing skirt. She completed the look with a bindi, adding the perfect desi touch to her glamorous NYFW ensemble. She shared pictures from the evening, posing against the glittering New York skyline, with the caption, “my first ever NYFW show for and in @nazranaa”.
And the moment feels especially full-circle for Apoorva. From studying in New York to now attending Fashion Week, she is quite literally living the kind of city-girl dream that sits on so many Gen Z vision boards.
