- Amaal Mallik releases the song one day in advance as a surprise to the fans
Celebrated singer and composer Amaal Mallik collaborates with T-Series to bring fans an audio-visual delight with “Mohabbat,” an enchanting love song produced by Bhushan Kumar, featuring Amaal and his long-time friend, actress Aamna Sharif, who are coming together on screen for the very first time. With Amaal’s beautiful composition blended with his vocals and Vayu’s lyrics, the song is definitely a feast to the ears. To complement the captivating melody, the music video was filmed against the breath-taking landscapes of Ladakh, through the expert eye of director Krish Trivedi. Amaal, a self-proclaimed fan of the legendary Shah Rukh Khan, has incorporated elements in the visuals that pay homage to the grandeur and charm of some iconic scenes.

Says Amaal Mallik, “I sang an unplugged version of this track a while ago and the reception from fans was such that I decided to work on a full-fledged track. Collaborating with Aamna Sharif for the first time has been an incredible experience, and I hope that the audience appreciates the chemistry we bring to the music video.”

Director Krish Trivedi divulges, “A title like Mohabbat instantly takes your mind to SRK and that beautiful era of music and romantic movies. I knew that Mohabbat had to be treated like a no nonsense Bollywood Romantic film song. It was an enriching experience preparing for this song and I’m especially thrilled to present Amaal in a new avatar for his Amaalians.”
