Kolkata, 9th June, 2026: Youth Association of Mohammad Ali Park, one of Kolkata’s most iconic and prestigious Durga Puja organizers, has announced the appointment of Shri Tapas Roy, MLA and Cabinet Minister, as its Chairman and Shri Binay Dubey, Social Worker, as its Vice Chairman.
The appointments come at a significant juncture as the association prepares to celebrate the 58th year of its renowned Durga Puja, a festival that has become synonymous with artistic excellence, cultural innovation, and community engagement.
Established in 1969, Youth Association of Mohammad Ali Park has earned widespread acclaim for its grand thematic presentations, magnificent architectural recreations, and meaningful social initiatives. Over the decades, the Puja has emerged as one of the most visited and celebrated Durga Pujas in Kolkata, attracting lakhs of devotees and visitors from across the country and beyond.
