RSS Honours Manish Tripathi Among Key Contributors to Ram Mandir Project

National, April 30, 2026: Manish Tripathi, the designer behind the attire of Ram Lalla, was felicitated by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat at the headquarters of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in Nagpur, in recognition of his contribution to the Ram Mandir project.

The felicitation ceremony, organised by the Dr. Hedgewar Smarak Samiti at Reshimbagh, marked a notable moment as it is understood to be the first formal acknowledgement by the Sangh.

Tripathi’s work on designing the attire for Ram Lalla has been widely noted for its attention to tradition, symbolism, and craftsmanship, reflecting the spiritual and cultural ethos of the temple since the day of coronation.

Speaking on the recognition, Manish Tripathi said, “This honour holds deep meaning for me. Contributing to the seva of Ram Lalla and being recognised at this level is not just a professional milestone, but a matter of personal and cultural pride. The Ram Mandir is a defining symbol of India’s civilisational continuity, and I feel privileged to have played a small role in it.”
