Hyderabad, Feb 2026: Models showcased grace and poise as they walked the ramp in finely woven handloom sarees. The curtain raiser fashion showcase was organized on Wednesday as a prelude to the upcoming Evwaah – Weavers Hub Exhibition, which is scheduled to be held on the 21st and 22nd February 2026 at Firewater Neo Bar & Kitchen – Banquet Hall, 12th Level, Nanakramguda. The handloom collection–themed highlighted the beauty and craftsmanship of traditional weaves, setting the tone for the two-day exhibition dedicated to promoting handloom artisans and their creations.
During the curtain-raiser held at the Firewater Banquet Hall, socialite Alekhya Reddy, along with her team, formally announced the launch of “Evwaah – Weavers Hub.” And the exhibition poster was unveiled.
Addressing the Media, Alekhya Reddy stated that the core objective of the exhibition is to support and encourage handloom weavers while providing them with a sustainable marketplace. She emphasized that the handloom sector, which forms an integral part of India’s cultural and economic fabric, requires consistent promotional platforms to ensure artisans receive fair opportunities and direct access to customers.
The two-day exhibition, beginning on the 21st, will feature handloom artisans and craft collectives presenting a wide array of traditional handwoven textiles. Collections on display will include Banarasi, Kanjeevaram, Gadwal, Pochampally, and Mangalagiri Saris.
She further informed that this is the first edition of the exhibition and that it is planned to be conducted once every month going forward, creating a recurring platform for weavers and artisan groups The exhibition is expected to attract fashion enthusiasts, handloom supporters, and members of the city’s social circles
