Actor Prabhas has officially announced The Script Craft International Short Film Festival through a special video released on social media. Launched on the Script Craft platform, the festival aims to provide a global stage for storytellers and filmmakers to showcase their talent and take their first step into the world of cinema.
Sharing his thoughts in the announcement video, Prabhas said, “The Script Craft isn’t just a festival—it’s where stories become careers.” He also wrote, “Every voice deserves a beginning. Every dream story deserves a chance.” The festival invites storytellers from across the world to participate and begin their cinematic journey.
The festival is open to short films of two minutes and above across all genres. Submissions will compete over a ninety-day period, with winners determined based on audience votes, likes, and ratings. The top three films will be declared winners, while all submitted entries will be showcased to production houses associated with the Script Craft platform.
Renowned filmmakers Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Nag Ashwin, and Hanu Raghavapudi also featured in the announcement video, extending their support to aspiring creators. Sandeep Reddy Vanga emphasized the importance of short films in a filmmaker’s journey, calling it the ideal time for aspirants to enroll and gain practical experience. Nag Ashwin highlighted how discovering talent through short films led to major cinematic opportunities, encouraging filmmakers to focus on understanding and refining their work. Hanu Raghavapudi urged young aspirants to present their vision with confidence and pursue their dreams.
Quick TV has come on board as the exclusive partner for emerging directors. Through its internal jury, Quick TV will select fifteen filmmakers from the festival. Each selected participant will receive support for developing a ninety-minute script, production backing, and a global premiere on the Quick TV platform.
Registrations for The Script Craft International Short Film Festival are currently open on TheScriptCraft.com, with further details regarding submission timelines and categories to be announced soon.
