“Eternal Echoes” – When Poetry Becomes a Mirror to the Soul, Society, and Self- By Peeyush Marwaha

What if poetry wasn’t just read—but felt, lived, and reflected upon? Eternal Echoes – Love, Society’s Silhouette and Growth by Peeyush Marwaha, also known as PMTalks (Instagram: @hashpmtalks), is not just a collection of verses—it’s a deeply personal and universal journey through the heart, mind, and society.

In a world often too fast for feeling, Marwaha invites readers to pause, breathe, and dive into 113 poems that stir introspection, compassion, and courage. With themes spanning self-care, societal critique, emotional evolution, and the eternal quest for love, Eternal Echoes delivers thought-provoking reflections in a voice that is raw, relatable, and rhythmically unforgettable.

In Conversation with PMTalks: The Story Behind the Verses

Q: What draws you to the medium of poetry, and how do you believe it offers a distinctive way to communicate emotions and ideas?

PMTalks: Poetry is the language of the soul. It flows like intuition—from everyday observations to life’s grand metaphors. Whether it’s a fallen leaf or a societal pattern, poetry lets you express depth without complication. That freedom is what makes it so powerful.

Q: Can you share the inspiration behind the themes of your poems and how they influenced the tone and structure of the book?

PMTalks: Eternal Echoes is deeply rooted in my own reflections and observations. It’s structured across four themes—Self-Care, Society’s Silhouette, Growth Mindset, and Matters of the Heart (inspired by Annie, my dream companion). The tone is conversational, with an undercurrent of purpose—each poem is like an intimate dialogue with the reader.

Q: Poetry often invites personal interpretation. How do you balance your intended meaning with the reader’s perspective?

PMTalks: I offer short reflections after each poem—a gentle nudge toward meaning without taking away the freedom of interpretation. The goal is to engage the reader emotionally while providing a guide for introspection.

Q: Tell us about the musicality of your language and how it shapes the reader’s experience.

PMTalks: I call it Rhyming Rain. Certain phrases and words echo throughout, creating a poetic loop. It’s like a journey with recurring checkpoints—familiar, rhythmic, and memorable. The reader meets different “spectators” in the poems—friends, foes, admirers, or critics—each with a story of their own.

Q: How has your personal journey influenced your themes and imagery?

PMTalks: The book is a vessel of my life experiences—spiritual growth, heartbreaks, societal contradictions, and self-healing. The imagery is meant to inspire: think of gladiators in life’s arena, silent climbers scaling inner mountains, or manifestations of soul connections. It’s all about feeling seen and inspired.

Q: How do you use poetry to comment on societal dynamics?

PMTalks: Many poems are written in third person—using “The One” or “The Other”—and are gender-neutral. Through titles like Funny Squiggly Shapes or We Are Stories, I challenge societal norms subtly, inviting readers to reflect rather than resist.

Q: Do you follow a writing routine, or is your process more instinctive?

PMTalks: Entirely instinctive. My writing happens in moments—during midnight reflections, solo drives, or even over a cup of coffee. Poetry isn’t something I plan—it’s something I feel. One of my favorite poems came to me minutes after a comedy show—just six lines, but they told a full story.
