Hyderabad, July 14th, 2023: Raagnaai Ads, in association with the South Central Railway, launched a new passenger amenity Tejo Bharath carts buggy service, at Secunderabad Railway Station. This service will ease the hassles passengers undergo while reaching the respective platforms, lugging their brimming baggage, while enhancing the overall passenger travel experience.
Chief Guest Sri Abhay Kumar Gupta, DRM, South Central Railway, Secunderabad Division and Special Guest Dr Venugopala Chary, Chairman, TSIDC; formally launched the much-desired passenger service, Tejo Bharath Carts, today at the Secunderabad Railway Station. Guests of Honor Sri Rajeev Kumar Gangele, ADRM (O), South Central Railway, Secunderabad Division and Sri M Basavaraju, Sr. DCM, South Central Railway, Secunderabad Division graced the occasion. Pavan Kumar TSK, Director, Raagnaai Ads, briefed the media about the service.
Chief Guest Sri Abhay Kumar Gupta, DRM, South Central Railway, Secunderabad Division said, Electric buggy services are being started at the Secunderabad Railway station for the use of our passengers. This service will be very useful for elderly people, for the people who have disabilities and who are having problems in negotiating the platform. So, using these electric buggy services you can go to any platform without climbing the stairs or without going on the escalator. In fact, they were in need of this service for a long time. But due to some reasons, it was discontinued for the past few months. Now, today we have given this contract to Raagnaai Ads, who are starting this service. I hope that these Tejo Bharath carts services will be provided at a very nominal cost per passenger. It will be very much useful, and our passengers will be benefited with the introduction of this service.
The battery-operated Tejo Bharath Carts transport passengers within the premises of the Secunderabad Railway Station, between the platforms. The carts will be available for passengers at the main entrance on both, platform numbers 1 and 10. Passengers can book the service with a fee of Rs 50/- per passenger at the Ticket booking or Enquiry counters in the station. The carts will transport passengers along with their luggage not exceeding 40 kgs, to the respective platforms where they board the train. The alighting passengers will be transported along with their luggage, from the platform they alight and will be dropped at the main entrance of either platform number 1 or number 10. The service will be available on a first come first serve basis and the passenger has to report at the Buggy cart point atleast 45 minutes ahead of the departure time of the train. Our endeavour is to facilitate seamless transport of passengers with their luggage and ensure they reach the right platform in time at a very nominal fee. It is the trauma that elderly persons, pregnant ladies, specially abled passengers, endure to reach their respective platforms, spurred us to look for a solution, the buggy cart service is a boon for such passengers and will enormously convenience them.
