Hyderabad, July 2025: The Telangana Chamber of Events Industry (TCEI) successfully hosted the Design by Raja – TCEI Event Excellence Awards 2025 at Savaaya Convention, Osman Sagar Road, Gandipet, Hyderabad, Celebrating excellence in the events industry across Telangana and India. This 8th edition of the awards recognized outstanding talent, creativity, and innovation through 100+ awards across diverse categories under four major segments across Telangana and India.
The evening was graced by Chief Guest Patel Ramesh Reddy – Chairman, Telangana Tourism Development Corporation. The dignitaries formally inaugurated the program with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and presented the awards in the presence of TCEI President Balram Babu, General Secretary Ravi Bura, Awards Convener Ramesh K. Muppana, Co-Conveners Sudhakar Yerabadi and Hirish Reddy and TCEI Working Committee.
The awards were broadly categorized to highlight excellence at both state and national levels. The ‘Pearl of Hyderabad’ segment honoured event professionals operating within the state of Telangana, while the ‘Gem of India’ segment acknowledged outstanding contributions from across the Indian events industry.
A special category titled ‘Jade of Hyderabad’ offered recognition to individuals who have demonstrated consistent excellence in their respective fields. This year’s honorees included Anil Kumar Lakotia of Swastik Supplying Company, Pingali Vidya Sagar of Catpro Events and Entertainment Limited, Md Maqsood Ali of A2Z Function Organisers, Moin Khan of Moghal Caterers, and Kishan Agarwal of Classic 3 Group.
The Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to two industry veterans who have made remarkable contributions to the growth and stature of the event industry in Telangana—Surat Singh Malhotra of The Namdhari Business Group and Kommu Adarsh Kumar of Musical Waves.
