In 2015, Om Raut turned director and writer for his directorial debut project in Marathi with Lokmanya: Ek Yugpurush. Inspired by the ideologies of Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Om Raut brought to the fore the undying contributions of the Indian freedom leader.
Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior (2020)
In 2020, Om Raut arrived with a cinematic spectacle, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior. As its director and co-writer, he served up a courageous tale of a Maratha warrior, Tanhaji Malusare. He highlighted the authenticity of battles and sacrifices in this historic epic and even received recognition of a National Award for Best Popular Film.
Adipurush (2023)

Kalam: The Missile Man of India

The poignant film aims to capture the journey of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, from his humble beginnings in Rameswaram to being the people’s president and India’s most respected aerospace scientist.
