In May 2025, Sterling entered into a technology licensing agreement with Advanced Electric Machines (AEM), UK, to manufacture magnet-free motors in India — a step toward sustainable, rare-earth-free technology.
Further strengthening its EV component offerings, in September 2025, Sterling announced a partnership with Landworld Technology Co. Ltd., China, to bring advanced on-board chargers and DC/DC converters to the Indian market.

Sterling’s exclusive relationship with Jiangsu Gtake Electric Co., Ltd. for the Indian market remains firm and unchanged. The partnership continues to thrive, with several products being developed by Gtake and localized by Sterling to meet domestic performance and compliance standards.
To reflect its growing technological network, Sterling’s product nameplates will now carry co-branding from its global partners — including Gtake, AEM, and Landworld — emphasizing its commitment to transparency, collaboration, and innovation.
