Based in Gurugram, Jatin will report directly to Sanjay Varnwal, CEO & Co-Founder, and lead a rapidly expanding global team of 90+ engineers, AI researchers, and platform specialists.
With over two decades of experience across the US and India, Jatin brings deep expertise in software engineering, data engineering, and AI/ML. His nearly 10-year tenure in the US includes impactful roles at Amazon and Instacart, where he contributed to building and scaling high-performance consumer platforms. At Amazon Prime Video, he worked on global video quality and enrichment systems powered by computer vision, while at Instacart he developed next-generation, LLM-driven contact center technologies serving millions of users across North America.
Jatin has also held leadership roles at MobiKwik and the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), driving mission-critical engineering initiatives across video streaming, digital payments, SaaS platforms, logistics, banking, and customer support. His technical strengths include distributed systems, high-performance computing, serverless architectures, and AI/CV/ML—an exceptional combination for scaling AI-first products.
In his new role at Spyne, Jatin will steer the architecture and development of the company’s core AI-powered visual and data platform. His mandate includes strengthening Spyne’s cloud and infrastructure backbone, advancing innovations across computer vision and generative AI, and fostering a world-class engineering culture rooted in customer obsession, first-principles thinking, speed, and technical excellence.
