Hyderabad, 7th January 2024: The prestigious Grand Industrial Conclave, jointly hosted by BNI Grand and the Cherlapally Industrial Area; was held today at the Cherlapally Industrial Association Hall, Cherlapally, witnessing the presence of esteemed dignitaries: Hon’ble Dignitaries Chief Guest Shri J Srinivas, Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner; Smt M Anuradha, Zonal Manager, Medchal Siddipet TGIIC; Shri Govinda Reddy, President, Cherlapally Industrial Area (CIA); Shri J Roshi Reddy, Chairman, IALA, CIA; Ms Sanjana Shah, Executive Director, BNI Hyderabad; Shri K Chandra Shekar Reddy, Secretary, CIA; Mr. Vamshi Krishna, President, BNI Grand; Mr. Raghuvarr, Vice President, BNI Grand and Mr. Prashant Garlapati, Secretary-Treasurer, BNI Grand.
Shri J Srinivas, Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner; speaking on the occasion said, the Employee Provident Fund organisation, the largest social security organisation in the world, is serving 8 crore live subscribers. Our corpus is Rs 25 lakh crores, which is ten times of the budget of Telangana, in fact Telangana Government can run with our interest alone. The EPFO has been serving people in highly transparent manner. Since it’s a special security organisation, my request to the business community is not to view PF as a tax burden on the enterprise, it is purely a welfare legislation to help people in the old age. Earlier there was a misconception that contributing to PF was one way, you can’t claim back the money, now the transformed scenario is, the claim settlement is done in three days.
Shri J Roshi Reddy, Chairman, IALA, Cherlapally Industrial Area; said, The Cherlapally Industrial Area has over 1500 industrial units functioning here, most of which are Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), we have multiple challenges, but we have been weathering them and running successfully.
