Rahul Shetty’s Jahaan – The Last Gift: Starring Tiger Shroff, A Gripping Environmental Message This World Environment Day

Mumbai, June 5, 2025 – This World Environment Day marks a significant milestone in the creative journey of celebrated choreographer-turned-filmmaker Rahul Shetty, as he launches his profoundly impactful short film, Jahaan – The Last Gift. Stepping into the director’s role after a successful career choreographing Bollywood megahits such as ABCD 2, Street Dancer 3D, and Baaghi 2, Shetty delivers a visually stunning, emotionally moving and socially relevant piece of cinema.

For viewers and fans, Jahaan – The Last Gift features actor Tiger Shroff in one of his most sincere performances. The film, produced for discerning cinephiles by Remo D’Souza, has already garnered international acclaim, ranking in the Top 10 Films at the prestigious International Waves Bazaar. Yet beyond accolades, Jahaan serves as a compelling call to environmental responsibility.

The film chronicles the delicate relationship between humans and the environment. Shetty crafts a narrative that is both deeply personal and universally resonant, reminding audiences that the environment is not separate from us — it is us. He shares, “Dance taught me that everything in nature has rhythm,” adding poignantly, “There are rhythms in nature, but today the rhythms are disappearing.”

Wearing the hats of both director and producer, Shetty champions a message that is clear and urgent: Reuse. Replant. Respect. These words are more than a theme — they are a rallying cry for collective conscience.

Producer Remo D’Souza echoed the film’s spirit, stating, “Let’s not be known as the generation that only witnessed the change, but the generation that became the change.”

Tiger Shroff remarked, “It is my first short film and my brother’s first short film as director. I was drawn to the message right away. It’s the need of the hour — we are talking about the environment, Mother Nature, and global warming. I want this short film to go to as many places as possible because the message is critical and so wonderfully told. I am proud it was selected at the Waves Festival and even prouder to be a part of it.”

Jahaan is more than a film — it is a movement. A call to arms, a conscience-led creative journey, and Rahul Shetty’s most heartfelt step yet into socially driven storytelling.
