Actor Rachit Singh is gearing up for the release of Baby Do Die Do, where he will be seen playing Siddhu. Ahead of the film’s release, the actor opened up about his experience of working with director Nachiket Samant and how his calm and composed approach helped create an organic environment on set.
Sharing his experience, Rachit revealed that Nachiket’s relaxed working style allowed actors to stay present and fully immersed in their performances, making the creative process feel natural and instinctive.
Speaking about working with the director, Rachit said, “Working with Nachi was actually very relaxed because he is very chill and calm. No matter what is happening on set, he does not panic, and that energy really helps you as an actor to stay grounded and be present in the moment. He talks very less, but he gives you a word or a few pointers that really help you understand the scene, increase its stakes and understand the character better.”
He further added, “For him, it is not about too much preparation; it is about being in the moment, listening, taking directions and letting the scene happen naturally. That was my experience working with Nachiket.”
In Baby Do Die Do, Rachit plays Siddhu, a musician and music teacher who believes in goodness and is always there for the people he loves. The role marks a complete departure from his intense and darker character, Viren, in Thamma.
With Siddhu, Rachit is set to showcase a softer, more heartfelt side of his craft. Baby Do Die Do is slated to release on July 3
