Mohali, India, August 12, 2025 – Plaksha University, a technology-driven institution reimagining higher education and research in India, marked a historic milestone with the convocation of its founding BTech Class of 2025. The event underscored the university’s mission to develop a new generation of engineers equipped to solve complex, real-world challenges.
The inaugural graduating class achieved exceptional placement results, with 100% of industry-bound students (65% of the eligible cohort) securing offers across functions such as data science, AI/ML, business analysis, software engineering, product management, and consulting. The average CTC exceeded ₹20 LPA, with top offers touching ₹60 LPA. The top 25% of graduates averaged ₹36 LPA, highlighting industry demand for Plaksha’s interdisciplinary and future-ready talent.
Leading recruiters included Arcesium, Boston Consulting Group (BCG), D.E. Shaw, Flipkart, Fractal Analytics, Info Edge, Jefferies, McKinsey & Company, Wayground (formerly Quizizz), and Wayfair. Graduates secured roles in sectors such as Deep Tech, Startups, Consulting, BFSI, and Emerging Technologies.
Pathways Beyond Placements
A significant 27% of the graduating class chose to pursue higher studies and research, earning admission to prestigious institutions including Carnegie Mellon University, University of Pennsylvania, University of Chicago, UC San Diego, King’s College London, New York University, and TU Delft. The remaining graduates are launching their own startup ventures, reflecting Plaksha’s entrepreneurial culture.
