Noida International University Hosts Two-Day Faculty Development Programme IRIS-G 2.0

Greater Noida, February 16, 2026: Noida International University (NIU), through its School of Nursing, in collaboration with the Institute of Applied Statistics, Kanpur, successfully organized a two-day Faculty Development Program (FDP)—IRIS-G 2.0 (Innovation, Research & Intellectual Skills) at the SBM Conference Hall, NIU. The program witnessed the participation of 200 faculty members from nursing and allied disciplines.

The FDP aimed to strengthen faculty competencies in teaching, research, innovation, and professional development in line with evolving academic and healthcare standards. The program was inaugurated in the august presence of NIU leadership, academicians, and delegates, fostering an environment of academic excellence and collaborative learning.

The program was held under the patronage of Dr. Devesh Kumar Singh, Hon’ble Chairman, NIU, and Dr. Vikram Singh, Hon’ble Chancellor, NIU, both of whom emphasized the role of continuous faculty development in achieving institutional excellence. Prof. (Dr.) Uma Bhardwaj, Honorable Vice Chancellor, NIU, highlighted the importance of innovation, research orientation, and capacity building among educators. The chief guest inspired participants to embrace lifelong learning and evidence-based academic practices.

Prof. (Dr.) Dipak Sethi, Director, School of Nursing, served as the convenor of the program and provided strategic guidance throughout its planning and execution. The FDP was coordinated by Ms. Money Saxena, Prof. Vinit Ramawat, Mr. Sayyad Sadab Ali, Dr. Arti, and Ms. Yuri Verma.

The program featured expert-led technical sessions on innovative teaching methodologies, research ethics, publication strategies, and professional skill enhancement, supported by interactive discussions and Q&A sessions.

The FDP concluded with positive feedback from participants, reflecting enhanced academic confidence, improved research awareness, and strengthened professional competencies. The initiative reaffirmed NIU’s commitment to quality education, faculty empowerment, and continuous academic advancement.
