Noida International Institute of Medical Sciences, NIIMS Medical College, Greater Noida, successfully hosted its annual flagship fest, GENOME 2025, a four-day event at the NIIMS Campus, celebrating a vibrant confluence of culture, creativity, and intellect for medical students The four-day event unites hundreds of students, artists, and innovators of medical field in a dynamic showcase of talent, collaboration, and youthful energy.
This event was organized by the Socio-cultural Department of NIIMS Medical College. The event commenced with a grand Inauguration Ceremony at the Exam Hall featuring Ganesh Vandana, Saraswati Vandana, Unfurling of the Genome, and a Welcome of Dignitaries, setting an auspicious tone. The celebrations continued with Utopia at the NIIMS Football Ground, transforming the space into a hub of music, color, and student energy.

GENOME 2025, designed by Aditya Chandna (IT Head), emphasizes interdisciplinary engagement, fusing literature, art, science, and performance to promote holistic learning. With over 50 events and 1,000+ participants, the festival stands as a testament to NIU’s vibrant campus culture and its commitment to fostering innovation, teamwork, and creativity among students.
The fest came alive with energetic dance performances, soulful singing, and a dazzling fashion walk that lit up the stage with creativity and confidence. Students showcased their artistic flair through vibrant choreography, melodious tunes, and trendsetting style, turning GENOME 2025 into a true celebration of talent, expression, and youthful enthusiasm.
The festival featured an exciting lineup of events, including Rang-e-Jahaan, Swing of Seconds, 3-Legged Race, Clash of Curtains, Storeel, Time Turner Trials, Push-Ups, The Big Poster Show, and Waste to Wonder, celebrating creativity and teamwork. Adding intellectual flair were sessions like Message in a Bottle, Sakura’s Quill, Chakkar par Charcha, Mould it Up, Resonance of Reminiscence, Jab We Quote, Musical Quiz, The Carbon Canvas, Twisted Timelines, and Pitch an Idea, encouraging innovation and expression. The celebration concluded with engaging performances, including Art-e-Face, Confucius Speaks, Design-a-Tee, Jashn-e-Sukhan, Planks, The Word Grid Wars, Cupid Dance, Rhythmania, and the spectacular Silhouettes in Motion on the main stage, leaving the audience enthralled.
