Mumbai’s girl Mariam, the owner of House of Biryan, Maharashtra, was felicitated by the Honourable Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs, Government of India, Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman ji at the Swiggy “She The Change- From Vision to Venture” event conducted in New Delhi.
This initiative underscored the contribution of food delivery platforms in fostering and stimulating women’s entrepreneurship in the country, honouring female entrepreneurs from all over India for their remarkable contributions to the industry.
Mariam, from House of Biryan in Mumbai, Maharashtra, applauds Swiggy’s effort to acknowledge women and their contributions in supporting the initial stages of business building. Swiggy has more than 50,000 women-run restaurants on its platform, generating approximately three hundred thousand jobs, building India’s vibrant economy.
