Maharashtra Tourism to unveil its Cultural & Heritage Splendour in Japan!

Maharashtra Tourism is pleased to announce its momentous journey to Japan, presenting an immersive experience of Maharashtra’s cultural and tourism gems. This multi-event will unfold across three key engagements, commencing with the India Mela in Kobe from October 7th to 9th, followed by strategic meetings with the travel trade and business associations of Japan and culminating in a dynamic roadshow in Osaka on the 11th of October.

The delegation travelling to Japan comprises Shri. Girish Mahajan, Hon’ble Minister for Tourism, Maharashtra, Smt. Radhika Rastogi IAS, Principal Secretary, Tourism and Dr. B. N. Patil, Director, Directorate of Tourism, Maharashtra.

At the India Mela, Maharashtra Tourism will be represented with a dedicated booth space, showcasing the state’s unique cultural, historical, and natural treasures. A captivating cultural troupe from Maharashtra will also grace the event, offering visitors a glimpse into the vibrant traditions and art forms that define the region. The India Mela in Kobe serves as a significant platform for Maharashtra Tourism to engage with the discerning Japanese audience and introduce them to the diverse tourism offerings of the state.
Following the India Mela in Kobe, there will be strategic meetings between the delegation of Maharashtra Tourism and the prominent associations and travel trade of Japan in Shirahima and Okayama. This collaborative effort aims to strengthen ties and explore potential avenues for fostering tourism between Maharashtra and Japan. The delegation from Maharashtra Tourism will discuss avenues for collaboration and highlight the unique attractions that make Maharashtra an ideal destination for Japanese tourists.
Maharashtra Tourism is keen to extend its presence in Japan, where a dynamic roadshow is scheduled in Osaka for the 11th of October. This roadshow aims to amplify the reach of Maharashtra’s tourism offerings, providing a deeper insight into the state’s cultural, historical, and natural treasures.
