KLE Basava Girls School Creates History with First Gold in Tenvic Open Girls Table Tennis Tournament

Bengaluru, August 19, 2025 – This Independence Day turned extra special for KLE Basava Girls School, Kengeri, as its students carved a golden chapter in the school’s sporting journey. The school won its first-ever Gold medal at the Tenvic Open Girls Table Tennis Tournament, held at KLE Rajajinagar on the eve of Independence Day. With more than 70 young athletes competing in the event, the victory has brought immense pride to the institution and the community it represents.

The team, guided by Kamesh Gareri, Former Senior National Coach, put on a remarkable display of grit, skill, and determination. The milestone win not only marks a new era for the school but also inspires other young girls to take up table tennis as a serious sport.
