Khuti Puja & “Binodini” Theme Launch: Bhowanipur 75 Palli Durga Puja

Kolkata, 27th July 2025: Bhowanipur 75 Palli, one of Kolkata’s most renowned and culturally rich puja committees, officially began its 61st year of Durga Puja celebrations with the traditional Khuti Puja at its premises on 1/1C, Debendra Ghosh Road, near Netaji Bhavan Metro Station.

Theme Launch: “Binodini” – A Tribute to a Theatre Icon

Following the sacred rituals, the committee unveiled this year’s eagerly awaited theme – “Binodini”. The theme honours Nati Binodini, the trailblazing figure in Bengali theatre, celebrated for her courage, dignity, and creative brilliance.

The Khuti Puja ceremony was attended by several eminent personalities, including:
