Noida, December 20, 2025: Satyam School of Journalism & Mass Communication, affiliated with SNDT Women’s University, successfully hosted its annual media fest IGNITE 2K25 on December 19, drawing enthusiastic participation from students, faculty, media professionals, and distinguished guests. Centered on the theme “Heritage Rising: Reviving Our Legacy,” the fest highlighted the seamless blend of India’s rich cultural heritage with contemporary media practices.
The event reflected the institution’s vision of nurturing future media professionals through hands-on training while instilling strong ethical and cultural values. The campus buzzed with creativity, dialogue, and learning as participants engaged in a dynamic celebration of media, culture, and innovation.
The fest was graced by eminent dignitaries including Advocate Seema Kushwaha, Senior Advocate of the Supreme Court and former BSP spokesperson; Shri Durga Nath Swankar, Assistant Director and Officer on Special Duty, Central Bureau of Communication, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India; and Shri Kanchan Azad, Joint Secretary, Delhi Legislative Assembly. The distinguished guests shared valuable insights on the evolving role of media, law, and governance in contemporary society.
Prominent personalities from the media and healthcare sectors also attended the event. Radio Jockey Aman from Red FM energized students through interactive sessions, while Dr. Rahul Gupta, Senior Director and Head of the Department of Neurosurgery at Fortis Hospital, Noida, highlighted the critical importance of accurate and effective communication in healthcare.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Sneh Singh, Chairperson, Satyam Group of Institutions, said,

Adding a strong cultural dimension to the fest, renowned Hindustani classical and devotional singer Dr. Saroj Mishra stressed the importance of preserving India’s musical heritage and encouraged students to connect traditional art forms with modern media platforms.
The media fest featured a wide range of competitions, including RJ Hunt, Walk of Fashion, Click-O-Mania (Photography), Footloose (Group Dance), Step Up (Solo Dance), Halla Bol (Street Play), Saptak (Solo Singing), and FlickIt (Mobile Filmmaking). Students showcased exceptional creativity, energy, and talent across all categories.
IGNITE 2K25 concluded on a high note with vibrant performances, enthusiastic participation, and meaningful interactions between students and guests.
