IAAPI had the privilege of participating in a high-level meeting with the Ministry of Tourism, chaired by Hon’ble Minister Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and DG Tourism Shri Suman Billa.
The Minister strongly endorsed the industry’s key concerns and aspirations, and called upon the Ministry to prepare a detailed document that could form the basis for recommendations to state governments.
From industry status and infrastructure recognition to GST rationalisation and PLI schemes for ride manufacturing, several critical topics were addressed with encouraging support from the Ministry.
This marks a significant leap forward in IAAPI’s ongoing efforts to create visibility, drive policy engagement, and elevate the strategic importance of the amusement industry in India’s growth story.
IAAPI thank the Ministry for its proactive approach and look forward to continued collaboration for a more vibrant, future-ready amusement ecosystem.
