Passengers can now savour these delectable dishes while waiting for their trains or indulge in a memorable dining experience. They can also order via online aggregators like IRCTC Catering, Swiggy and Zomato to get their orders at their location.

Speaking on the occasion Shri Narendra A. Patil, Divisional Railway Manager, Vijayawada Division, South Central Railway; said, happy to announce the launch of the coach restaurant at Vijayawada. Coach restaurant is a concept through which Railways will earn non-fare revenue, at the same time our passengers will get good variety of multi-cuisine. This coach restaurant is being run by Haldiram’s, a renowned brand, offering quality food in India, are coming for the first time to Vijayawada and Andhra Pradesh. They will serve Central Indian, North Indian along with local cuisine. Happy at our passengers having lots of options for their meals. There is a takeaway pickup for the convenience of the passengers in a hurry. Different varieties of cuisine will be introduced and passengers can take full advantage of it.
