Haryana, May 29, 2025 — In a continued effort to support community welfare, FUJIFILM India inaugurated a new Fujifilm Smiles Home at The Earth Saviours Foundation in Mandawar Village, Sohna, Haryana. Marking the occasion of the International Day of Families, the initiative aligns with FUJIFILM’s broader mission of creating sustainable social value. The newly built shelter now offers a dignified home to 750 individuals, including the especially abled, destitute, and abandoned.
This new facility marks the second phase of FUJIFILM India’s long-term plan under the Fujifilm Smiles Home initiative, which was first launched on World Smiles Day last year. Building on that foundation, the current phase supports The Earth Saviours Foundation with a fully equipped shelter that emphasizes both functionality and compassion. Designed with insulated iron structures, the facility includes medical beds, wheelchairs, walkers, almirahs, fans, coolers, and curtains — all contributing to a safe and respectful living environment.
Mr. Koji Wada, Managing Director, FUJIFILM India, shared his thoughts at the inauguration:
