The 13th edition of the Jagran Film Festival (JFF) — the world’s largest traveling film festival — will conclude with a grand finale in Mumbai from November 13–16, 2025, at Cinépolis, Fun Republic Mall, Andheri West.
Adding star power to JFF Mumbai chapter, Huma Qureshi will take center stage for a special session that traces her inspiring journey. An actor, a producer , a storyteller who’s redefined versatility in Indian cinema, from Gangs of Wasseypur to Maharani, she has consistently chosen stories that challenge convention and celebrate layered, powerful women, making her one of the most compelling voices of contemporary storytelling.
Speaking about her journey from Gangs of Wasseypur to Maharani, Huma Qureshi said, “My journey has always been about breaking boxes — refusing to be defined by one genre, one role, or one label. I’ve always believed that an artist’s true power lies in being limitless — in constantly evolving, experimenting, and telling stories that matter. I’m glad to bring that spirit to the Jagran Film Festival, which celebrates cinema in all its boundless forms.”
