200-truck partnership combines electric fleet deployment, route electrification and charging infrastructure to advance long-haul freight operations
Gurugram, June 30th, 2026 -Drivn, an EV leasing platform focused on heavy commercial fleets, has made a strategic partnership with BillionE Mobility, an Emobility as a Service platform, to lease and deploy a fleet of 200 electric trucks, marking a significant step towards accelerating electric freight adoption in India.
As the first phase under this partnership, 22 electric trucks will be deployed for a cement industry offtaker backed by a long term contract. The deployment will establish an electrified freight corridor supported by dedicated charging infrastructure and operational solutions.
Compared to conventional internal combustion engine (ICE) trucks, this deployment is expected to reduce more than 4,500 tonnes of CO₂ emissions annually, highlighting the potential of electric freight solutions to reduce emissions from heavy commercial transportation.
