Chitrangda Singh, Huma Qureshi Turn Heads in Black at Crafting Bharat Awards

Actors Chitrangda Singh and Huma Qureshi graced the Crafting Bharat Business Conclave & Awards 2026 at ITC Grand Central, Mumbai, adding a touch of Bollywood sparkle to an evening dedicated to celebrating India’s brightest entrepreneurs and innovators.

While both stars embraced black for the evening, their interpretations couldn’t have been more distinct! Huma Qureshi brought power dressing to the blue carpet in a striking embroidered pantsuit featuring intricate gold-toned craftsmanship, paired with a fitted black top and flowing wide-legged trousers. The actor revealed that the outfit was created by a designer she discovered during a visit to Srinagar, adding that she is keen on supporting regional crafts and artisans. Chitrangda Singh, meanwhile, opted for timeless elegance in a sleek black dress accentuated with a vintage-inspired chain belt and delicate detailing. Effortlessly sophisticated, the look perfectly reflected the ’90s chic’ aesthetic she said she and her stylist had envisioned for the business-focused evening.

Apart from turning heads with their fashion choices, both the actors spoke about the projects they’re currently most excited about. Chitrangda opened up about her upcoming film Maatrubhumi alongside Salman Khan, expressing excitement about the project and hinting that audiences may not have to wait too long. Reflecting on her experience working with the superstar, she said, “He’s a great human being. All the rumours around him are so untrue! I found him to be humble, helpful and incredibly approachable. He is a superstar but feels like one of us.” On the film’s release, she teased, “Very, very soon.”

Huma, on the other hand, spoke candidly about stepping into the role of producer with Baby Do Die Do. Admitting that production comes with its own challenges, she laughed, “It’s very difficult! I think it’s easier being an actor. But I’m grateful that my brother Saqib (Salim) is doing most of the heavy lifting. I’m having fun though… it’s a dream come true!”

Presented by HT Media Group, curated by Fever Happening Hai and an initiative by NewsReach, Crafting Bharat Awards celebrated the visionary entrepreneurs, tech innovators and startup leaders shaping India’s economic future. Amid inspiring conversations, business breakthroughs and well-deserved accolades, the evening proved to be a perfect blend of ambition, elegance and star power.
