Chevella Parliament BJP candidate Konda Vishweshwar Reddy to set out on a Praja Asirwada Yatra!

  • Yatra to begin from Sri Seetha Ramachandra swami Temple, Ammapalli, Shamshabad from March 29th.
  • Yatra will touch all the villages of Chevella Lok Sabha constituency.

Hyderabad, March 27th, 2024Chevella Parliament BJP candidateKonda Vishweshwar Reddy, is poised to embark on a transformative journey, resonating with the essence of people’s blessings and aspirations through his Praja Asirwada Yatra. The Yatra will begin on Thursday 28th March at 7.00 am from the Sri Seetha Ramachandra swami Temple, Ammapalli, Narkhoda village Shamshabad and will pass through Malkaram, Shabad, Parigi, Tandur, Vikarabad, Chevella, Rajendranagar, Maheshwaram constituencies. This yatra will traverse through all the villages of all the assembly constituencies constituing part of the Chevella parliamentary constituency.

Addressing media on the eve of the Yatra Konda Vishweshwar Reddy said, BJP completed one round of campaigning of the Chevella Parliamentary constituency ahead of the announcement of election dates. We visited every home in every village and disbursed Ram mandir prasad, did bhajan programs, health camps, volleyball and cricket tournaments and several other programs. BJP is cadre based party and are strengthening our party network further. To accomplish this, I am starting a yatra by name Praja Asirwada Yatra from tomorrow morning from Sri Seetha Ramachandra swami Temple, Ammapalli. During the 14-day yatra we will cover all the constituencies under Chevella parliament constituency except the urban Serilingampally assembly constituency, the yatra will conclude on April 12th, 2024. We will later cover the voters of Serilingampally through road shows. We are reaching out to people to assure that we will fight for the problems they are facing. I have extensively covered the entire constituency in the last ten years, visited every village 7 to 8 times during this period, no MP has such track record of visiting the constituency so intensely, some MPs didn’t even visit a single village. I know the problem faced by the people here and have solutions for them, for example I strongly fought for Bijapur road from APPA junction in the parliament, as an MP in 2016 and brought 937 cr funds. Its struck due to incomplete land acquisition. I will revive it and have a plan to solve it. This constituency has dry agriculture land and irrigation is a challenge, Kalleswaram and Pranahitha Chevella can’t supply water. I have a solution, we will raise the minimum support price extended by central government for yield from dry land agriculture and will convince state government for support. I made central government to fund 50% of the cost involved in the proposed MMTS project, but the state government couldn’t bridge the balance 50%, I will work for it again. The government schools are in terribly bad shape, I will seek help through Sarva Siksha Abhiyan. The earlier state government promised to remove GO 111, but tricked the people by bringing another GO 69, which is worse than the earlier one. The new GO is helpful to farmhouses of MLAs and MPs, common man didn’t benefit from it, I will show a solution for it. I have solution for tomato farmers, have research papers to tackle it. Central Government have several beneficial schemes be it Ayushman Bharat or Vishwakarma yojana, bank loans; will educate public on how to avail these. BRS and Congress are short of candidates, I am not sure who is my opponent in the constituency, even today. The current state government has no revenue, they can’t implement new schemes because of this. Our CM himself said that Modi is the head of the state, Modi will rescue this state by giving money but with the condition that the money should be utilised properly. BJP has seen maximum growth in South India, even the son of senior Congress leader Anthony is with us, Anamalai is the BJP leader in Tamil Nadu. In Chevella constituency the BJP cadre base is increasing by the day. In the past BJP had just 3-4% vote share, which went up to 7%, later 14%. In recent assembly election BJP registered 21% vote share despite one assembly constituency was fought by our alliance partner Jana Sena. When I was in TRS, TRS didn’t have a base here, but I registered a win as TRS MP, while only two TRS MLA’s got elected from the constituency. In the construed fight between Modi and Rahul Gandhi, we are campaigning to vote for Modi, while they are not using Rahul Gandhi’s name, because they are aware that they will lose deposits if they ask votes in the name of Rahul Gandhi. They are instead promising the moon with impossible schemes, knowing those schemes can’t be implemented with the Government being in doldrums. The power cuts are back, there is drinking water shortage in Narsingi, anganwadi workers are being paid their salaries now and plethora of other unsurmountable problems, therefore Congress can’t live up to its promises.
