“Breaking Barriers and Empowering Women: SWAN Livelihood, WICCI Delhi Startup Council, and G100 Uttarakhand Mentoring & Motivation wing collaborated for International Women’s Day 2023.

On March 8, 2023, SWAN Livelihood, WICCI Delhi Startup Council, and G100 Uttarakhand Mentoring & Motivation wing came together to celebrate International Women’s Day with a panel discussion featuring distinguished guest speakers. This event was a great opportunity for women entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs to come together and exchange ideas, insights, and inspiration.

SWAN Livelihood, a startup based in Delhi, aimed to build the capabilities of the youth through specially designed training and learning programs. WICCI, on the other hand, was a national business chamber launched to boost women entrepreneurship and businesses through greater engagement with government, institutions, global trade, and networks. The WICCI Delhi Startup Council worked towards bringing women entrepreneurs from the Delhi/NCR region under a common umbrella to strengthen the startup ecosystem. Finally, G100 was an empowered group of 100 women leaders from across the world, leading 100 global wings, supported by G100 He for She champions (Denim Club), and 100 Country Chairs for powerful advocacy, awareness, and impact across governments and organizations for a gender-equal future. The G100 Uttarakhand Mentoring & Motivation wing worked under the National Wing to support and promote Women’s growth through Mentoring and Training.

The panel discussion featured distinguished guest speakers such as SURUCHI SINGH-Founder, charismatic crayons Private Limited, Initiator, SHESHER, KALYANI PATANGI-A Chemical Enninger & a Management Professional, Co-Founder. Intelliaco Solutions Private Limited. Country Chair. G100 Mentorina & Motivation, PROF. ROOPINDER OBEROI-Faculty, Department of Political Science, kirorimal College. Belhi University, Co-Founder Centre for innovation and Social Enterprise (CISE, KMC), and STEPHANIE PINKER-Trader at a Global Redge Fund, Mentor Chorio Blair Foundation for Women. These women were leaders in their respective fields and had made significant contributions to society. They shared their experiences and insights on various topics related to women entrepreneurship, such as access to funding, mentorship, networking, and skill development.
