“Bollywood has a huge influence on all of us – working with SRK samples has been incredible,” says Emiway Bantai as he drops final track from ‘Bajis’ EP

Independent rap icon  Emiway Banta  closes out his much-anticipated EP Bajis with the release of its final track,  “Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankien”  — a cinematic, soul-baring number that not only marks a sonic shift, but also a personal full circle moment for the artist.

Ending the EP with a tribute to Bollywood and SRK — the very icons that shaped his early love for music — Emiway reimagines the classic “Kaali Kaali Aankhen” with a haunting hip-hop twist, bringing his journey from fan to force full circle.

“I’m thrilled that the final drop from the Bajis EP, Kaali Kaali Aankhein, is already doing so well across platforms,” says Emiway. “Bollywood has a huge influence on all of us, and creating music with samples from some of these iconic songs has been an incredible experience. This EP gave me the opportunity to work with classics that featured Shah Rukh Khan — someone I deeply respect and look up to.”

Featuring five standout tracks — Badshah, Josh, Tribute to Sidhu Moosewala, Paisa Paisa, and now Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankien — Bajis reflects Emiway’s versatility and his evolution from underground rapper to cultural mainstay.

Reflecting on the emotional depth of the project, Emiway adds: “Creating Tribute to Sidhu Moosewala was a process I’ll cherish forever. The love and support from the fans has been amazing, and I hope to keep making music for them — and for anyone who resonates with my sound. I’m grateful to everyone who supported the Bajis EP along the way, including the team at Believe Artist Services.”

To commemorate the project, a  90-foot mural of Emiway was unveiled in Sion, Mumbai, making him the first Indian rapper to receive such an honor. Created in collaboration with Believe Artist Services, the mural marks a milestone not just for Emiway, but for India’s independent hip-hop scene as a whole.

Bajis is now streaming on all major platforms, with the all the music videos now live on Emiway’s YouTube channel.
