The new facility will serve as the state’s premier destination for children requiring specialized orthopedic treatment, from routine sports injuries to complex congenital conditions. The centre brings together experienced pediatric orthopedic surgeons, trauma specialists, and rehabilitation teams under one roof at the hospital’s Chennai campus. The center can handle up to 140 procedures monthly and includes consultation spaces where families can discuss treatment options privately.

Apart from orthopedic surgeons, the team includes plastic surgeons for complex soft tissue repairs, vascular specialists for circulation issues, and pediatric anesthesiologists experienced in managing young patients during surgery.
