Chandigarh: The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the globally recognised professional accountancy body, has announced the winners of ACCA Case Masters 2025 – Redefining the Accountant, its flagship national case study competition designed to nurture the next generation of finance professionals. The challenge brought together top undergraduate B.Com and BBA students from across India, showcasing the impressive analytical and strategic capabilities of the country’s emerging finance talent.
A National Platform to Bridge Academia and the Professional World
Open to colleges and universities nationwide, the competition provides a real-world forum for students to demonstrate financial acumen, strategic thinking, and problem-solving ability. With a vision to close the gap between academic learning and business application, ACCA created Case Masters as a launchpad for students to step into the world of professional accountancy.
The 2025 edition saw overwhelming participation, receiving 244 team registrations, of which 168 teams successfully submitted their case solutions. Following a rigorous evaluation, 35 teams advanced to Round 2. The top performers then competed in the final presentation round, where winners were officially announced on 27 November 2025.
Case Study Theme: Governance, Controls, AI and Sustainability
The final round required teams to present solutions based on a case centred on VoltTech Motors (VTM), a fictional electric vehicle manufacturer in Corlandia. The case explored critical themes including:
-
Governance and internal control weaknesses
-
Strategic partnerships
-

-
Integration of AI across support functions
Participants were assessed not only on analytical depth but also on communication clarity, structured problem-solving and the ability to convert technical insights into practical recommendations.
