Actress Deepika Motwani says that her day is incomplete without music. The actress adds that she has even taken formal training in music.
“Music plays a vital role in my daily life. I start my early mornings with spiritual chants and music, and even while showering, I have music playing in the background. It sets the tone for my day. I have learned the basics of Hindustani classical music from the Mewati gharana, under the guidance of Pt. Jasraj ji. I have successfully cleared two years of exams in that field. Music is incredibly soulful, and sometimes I wish I were a singer (maybe in my next life!). For now, I don’t have any plans to learn any musical instrument,” she says.
She adds, “I’m not a fan of sad songs, but there’s one song I absolutely love listening to, which is, of course, my own song ‘Dil Le Gayi Kudi Gujarat Di.’ Additionally, I enjoy Bollywood songs like ‘Tareefan’ by Badshah and ‘Suno Aisha’. I also adore my other song, ‘Dil Kadh Ke Le Gayi’, which topped the MTV Indi Pop list by Nitin Bali. It was directed by Ashish Chanana and produced by Crescendo Music.”
