NIRF Ranking 2023 Announced: IIT Madras Tops Overall, IISc Bangalore Leads in University Category

Like every year, for the year 2023, the ranking of institutions across the country has been released by the Union Ministry of Education. According to the NIRF Ranking 2023 released today i.e. Monday, June 5, 2023 by the Ministry of Education, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras is the best educational institution in the country. IIT Madras has secured the first rank in the overall category, which it has maintained for the fifth year in a row. At the same time, after this, the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) located in Bangalore is in second place. On the other hand, IISc Bangalore ranks first in the university category.

IIT Madras has once again got the first rank in the engineering category of the Ministry of Education’s NIRF ranking 2023. The rank of IIT Madras has remained intact for the eighth consecutive year. After this, IIT Delhi is in second place and IIT Bombay is in third place.

Similarly, talking about the top colleges in India, Miranda House of Delhi University is the best college to see in this category. After this, Hindu College of DU is in second place, while Presidency College of Bangalore is in third place.

According to the NIRF Ranking 2023 released on Monday, the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore has also ranked first in the country in the category of best institutions for research. However, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur ranks first in the country in the innovation category.

Talking about the country’s top management colleges, according to the NIRF ranking 2023, the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM Ahmedabad) in Gujarat is at the first position. It is followed by IIM Bangalore at the second position while IIM Kozhikode at the third position.

The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Hyderabad has ranked first in the country in the pharmacy category of NIRF ranking 2023. After this, Delhi-based Jamia Hamdard is on the second position and BITS Pilani is on the third position.

Talking about law category, the National Law University (NLU) Bangalore has been ranked first in the NIRF ranking 2023. After this, NLU Delhi and University of Law Hyderabad are at second and third place respectively.
