Founded under the visionary leadership of Dr. Lita Mohapatra, MBBS, MM, FAM, Hon. Doctorate, Hon D.Litt. (Dermatology), Founder and Managing Director, ASRAVA Foundation is committed to bridging the digital divide and nurturing talent capable of contributing to the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The Foundation believes that access to advanced technological education should not be limited by geography, economic status, or social background. Instead, it should serve as a powerful instrument for empowerment, innovation, and nation-building.
Under its ambitious Vision 2026 initiative, ASRAVA Foundation has set a target of training 1,100 students across Odisha in Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies. Demonstrating remarkable progress, the Foundation has already successfully trained more than 600 students, achieving over 54 percent of its annual target. This milestone reflects the growing demand for future-oriented skill development and the Foundation’s commitment to preparing youth for rapidly evolving global industries.
The initiative has witnessed enthusiastic participation from students representing some of Odisha’s leading academic institutions, including Rama Devi Women’s University, Ravenshaw University, ASBM University, Shailabala Women’s Autonomous College, C.V. Raman Global University, Dharanidhar University, Government Autonomous College Rourkela, BJB Autonomous College, GITA Autonomous College, ITER–SOA University, KIIT Institutions, Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Utkal University, Silicon University, IGIT Sarang, PMEC, DRIEMS University, Regional Institute of Education (RIE) Bhubaneswar, and several other premier colleges and universities across the state.
Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning are rapidly transforming sectors such as healthcare, education, agriculture, finance, manufacturing, governance, and research. However, many students, particularly those from underserved communities, often lack access to structured training and industry-relevant exposure. ASRAVA Foundation addresses this challenge by offering practical learning opportunities that introduce participants to real-world applications of AI and ML while fostering creativity, innovation, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
The Foundation’s programs focus on developing competencies in data analytics, predictive modelling, automation, intelligent decision-making systems, digital transformation, and emerging technologies.
