In many Indian homes, frozen food once meant compromise – on freshness, on nutrition, sometimes even on trust. For years, the category carried quiet hesitation. But in Greater Noida, a new-age food company set out to change that perception from the ground up.
Founded in 2023, Cravicious Foods Pvt. Ltd. was not born in a boardroom brainstorming session. Its roots trace back to poultry farms, feed mills, and years of agricultural discipline under the FeedPro Group, a fully integrated poultry enterprise established in 2013.
For over a decade, FeedPro worked closely with 300+ farmers across Uttar Pradesh, managing breeding farms, hatcheries, feed manufacturing, and broiler operations. Every month, lakhs of birds were raised under monitored nutrition and quality systems. It was here that the founders developed an intimate understanding of one truth: quality food begins long before it reaches a kitchen.
When the COVID-19 pandemic reshaped how India cooked and consumed food, the shift was immediate. Families wanted hygienic, safe, and convenient options- but without compromising on what went into them. The frozen food aisle suddenly looked less like a backup and more like a necessity.
That was the inflection point.
Cravicious Foods formally took shape in April 2023, initially partnering with third-party manufacturers before commissioning its own state-of-the-art production facility in Greater Noida in December 2024. Today, the plant operates with global certifications including FSSAI, FSSC 22000, HACCP, HALAL, and US FDA compliance, and produces up to 300 metric tonnes monthly.
But infrastructure alone doesn’t define the company’s identity.
Inside the facility, more than 50 quality checks monitor sourcing, processing, packaging, and dispatch. Advanced freezing technology locks in flavour and nutrition without relying on artificial colours, preservatives, or palm oil. The chicken used is antibiotic- and hormone-free – not as a marketing tagline, but as an operational standard backed by farm-level integration.
At the consumer end, this philosophy finds expression through Meaty Story, the brand’s flagship non-vegetarian frozen range. Designed for modern households navigating busy schedules, it offers everything from momos and kebabs to nuggets and burger patties – products that promise restaurant-style taste with traceable sourcing.
The response has been swift. On quick-commerce platforms such as Blinkit and Zepto, the brand has emerged as a leading player in the frozen non-vegetarian snacks category, recording significant year-on-year growth. For restaurants and institutional buyers, Cravicious offers over 100 SKUs across HORECA and B2B channels, combining scale with flexibility.
Behind the expansion is a leadership team that bridges agriculture and FMCG experience. With decades of collective industry exposure, the founders have balanced operational control with consumer insight. The company remains bootstrapped, carefully scaling its footprint while maintaining tight process discipline.
Recognition followed. In 2024, Cravicious Foods was named “Emerging Frozen Food Brand of the Year,” a milestone that reflects not just rapid growth but growing consumer trust.
A new manufacturing unit is now set to go live, increasing manpower and capacity, signalling the company’s next phase. Yet its ambition remains measured: expand responsibly, deepen farm-to-fork integration, and strengthen quality systems rather than dilute them.
In a category once clouded by doubt, Cravicious Foods is building credibility through transparency and control. Its story is not just about frozen snacks on supermarket shelves. It is about farmers who understand nutrition, technologists who monitor every batch, and families who want convenience without second thoughts.
Because in the end, food is never just about speed.
It is about trust – carefully grown, carefully preserved, and thoughtfully delivered.
