Global Capability Centre to Drive Industry 4.0, Automation & Smart Manufacturing
Bengaluru, February 19, 2026: Festo, a global leader in automation technology and technical education, celebrated 40 years of operations in India with the inauguration of its new Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Bengaluru. The milestone underscores the company’s long-term commitment to advancing Industry 4.0, automation, and smart manufacturing, while creating capacity for 600 professionals and strengthening its strategic investment in the region.
71,000 Sq. Ft. Strategic Hub Near Electronics City
The newly inaugurated 71,000-square-foot Global Capability Centre, located near Electronics City in Bengaluru, represents a significant step in Festo’s global growth journey. The centre will serve as a high-impact hub for advanced engineering, digital solutions, software development, data analytics, and process excellence—supporting Festo’s worldwide operations.
The GCC will also build on the expertise of existing teams, driving global process optimization and fostering innovation across functions.
