Over 3,000 Participants Join 10K, 5K and 3K Runs at Necklace Road to Spread Awareness on Mindfulness and Healthy Living
Hyderabad, February 2026: ISKCON Hyderabad, a globally recognized spiritual organization committed to promoting mindfulness, wellness, and conscious living, successfully organized the Hare Krishna Run 2026 at Sanjeevaiah Children’s Park, Necklace Road, on Sunday. The event featured three categories — 10K Harinaam Run, 5K Bhakti Run, and 3K Sankirtan Walk — attracting more than 3,000 enthusiastic runners and walkers united by the mission of promoting de-addiction and an Addiction-Free Bharat.
Corporate Support Strengthens Social Awareness Movement
The run was presented by W3Global India, whose focus on social responsibility and wellness initiatives helped transform the event into more than just a fitness activity. With strong corporate backing, the Hare Krishna Run emerged as a powerful platform raising awareness about substance abuse and digital addiction while encouraging healthier lifestyles.
Distinguished Guests Flag Off the Run
The event’s ceremonial flag-off was attended by several distinguished dignitaries, including Nikhil Chakravarty, Director of Industries, Government of Telangana; Dr. Shirish Kumar G. Chavan, MD – Nizam Sugar Factory & Dean, ESIC Medical College & Hospital Sanathnagar; Venkatesh Battu, Manager – Admin & Facilities, W3Global India Pvt Ltd; and ISKCON spiritual leaders Varada Krsna Das, Sambhu Vaisnav Das, and Hanuman Vijay Das. Members of the ISKCON Global Events team also flagged off the 5K and 3K categories. MLC Addanki Dayakar attended the closing ceremony.
