All India: BonV Aero, a key player in India’s deep-tech aerospace startup ecosystem, is rapidly strengthening its talent base to meet the increasing demand and complexity of aviation technologies. In the first half of 2025, the company recorded a 45% growth in full-time staff, scaling its workforce from 46 in January to 58 in June.
This strategic expansion aligns with BonV Aero’s broader vision of advancing electric aviation, with new hires across critical verticals including software development, flight testing, compliance, business development, manufacturing, and quality control. The company is also investing in the development of the early-stage talent. Its internship pool has grown by 316%, now comprising 23 interns working across functions—a move aimed at creating a steady pipeline of future-ready aerospace professionals.
The company’s internship and graduate trainee program, launched earlier this year, has become a core feature of its HR strategy, attracting young professionals across various departments, including HR, software, and design.
“In line with its growth, BonV Aero has also overhauled its internal training systems. By creating a fully in-house learning framework, the company has removed reliance on external trainers and brought down external training costs to zero,” said Rahul Kumar, Cofounder & Head of Designs, BonV Aero.

Looking ahead, BonV Aero plans to increase its full-time workforce to over 70 by the end of 2025. Key focus areas for hiring include avionics, inventory and supply chain, compliance, quality assurance, and software development. This growth will be supported by continued reliance on internship programs and internal cross-training to maintain agility and cost-efficiency. Facility upgrades, including additional lab space and testing infrastructure, are also being planned to accommodate the expanding team and operational requirements
