“She Demanded a Huge Sum of Money and Accused Me of Kidnapping”: Gauravv Saxena Opens Up on His Divorce With Hema Sharma

In a rare and bold disclosure, successful entrepreneur and YouTuber Gauravv Saxena has come forward with the complete truth behind his separation from actress Hema Sharma. The story — involving divorce petitions, financial demands, legal threats, and cyber harassment — highlights the emotional and reputational toll that public relationships can have on individuals.

In a recent interview Gauravv revealed that he initiated the divorce process in 2023 after what he describes as “a series of manipulative and mentally draining incidents.” Despite sending multiple legal notices, Hema allegedly never appeared in court, prompting the judiciary to grant Gauravv an ex-parte divorce.

“She didn’t show up once. So legally, the case was decided in my favor, and I have no financial liabilities towards her,” he says. However, Gauravv claims the situation didn’t end there. He alleges that Hema later demanded ₹1.5 crore as a lump sum settlement, along with ₹5 lakh monthly — supposedly for herself and the two children, one of whom is from her previous marriage to Ashok Nanda.

“She told me that ₹3 lakh would be for her, and ₹1 lakh each for the two kids. But in the media, she’s claiming she never asked for money. I have all the court documents and bank proofs as evidence,” he asserts.

“I celebrated her elder son’s birthday in five-star hotels, gave him everything like a real father. But now she’s turned it all into drama.” Gauravv also recalls a disturbing incident from May last year, when he met his son after several months.

“She tried to file a kidnapping case against me. Her lawyer even said they would file a POCSO case — just because I tried to meet my own child.”

Since Hema’s appearance on Bigg Boss, Gauravv claims she has completely cut off his access to their son. His lawyer then advised him to stop making financial contributions.

“When I can’t even see my child, why pay? It’s not blackmail; it’s justice.”
More recently, Gauravv says he received a death threat over the phone after sharing posts on Instagram and YouTube.

“The caller said they’d kill me if I didn’t delete my social media. When I told him I had recorded the call, he admitted it was Hema behind it. She’s paying people to harass me.”

What stings the most, he says, is the character assassination and public embarrassment “Even a Bigg Boss 18 contestant mocked me after learning I was Hema’s ex-husband. That’s how low it has gone.”

According to Gauravv, Hema’s rise was partly funded by money he invested into building her image and supporting her career. “I have bank proofs of ₹70–80 lakhs spent. I even helped her open an office in Mahada under a foundation she called Hemlata Charitable Foundation. All those social work reels? Paid promotions.”

Despite it all, Gaurav insists he is not bitter. He’s determined to seek justice — not just for himself, but for other men who suffer in silence. He has filed a petition urging the creation of laws to protect men in matrimonial disputes, and he continues to fight a separate child custody case.

“The law should allow men to share their side too. It can’t always assume guilt just because a woman says something.”

When asked about speculation that he is using controversy to gain attention or enter Bigg Boss, Gauravv responds with clarity: “I’ve built my life on hard work. If I do Bigg Boss, it will be to tell my truth and stand up for other men like me.”
