PM Kisan Yojana: Big News! PM Modi to Release 19th Installment of Kisan Samman Nidhi Today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release over ₹22,700 crore under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme, benefiting more than nine crore farmers across India. The funds will be transferred directly to farmers’ bank accounts from Bhagalpur, Bihar, on February 24.

Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan shared this information on Sunday, stating that PM Modi will visit Bihar on Monday and, with a single click, deposit the funds into the accounts of 9.8 crore farmers. Chouhan emphasized that the PM-KISAN scheme is a major support system for small farmers.

Additionally, PM Modi will discuss the establishment of a Makhana Board, a long-awaited initiative announced in the recent Union Budget by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. The board aims to address the challenges faced by Makhana farmers, ensuring technological solutions for their issues.

PM Modi to Inaugurate Global Investors Summit in Bhopal Today

PM Modi has adjusted his schedule by 15 minutes to prevent any inconvenience for students appearing for board exams. He will now leave Raj Bhavan at 10 AM instead of 9:45 AM to inaugurate the “Invest Madhya Pradesh – Global Investors Summit 2025” in Bhopal.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav praised the Prime Minister’s sensitivity towards students, stating that PM Modi always prioritizes their education and future.

On Sunday, PM Modi was in Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh, where he laid the foundation stone for a cancer hospital in Bageshwar Dham. Later in the evening, he reached Bhopal and attended various programs. After spending the night at Raj Bhavan, he will officially inaugurate the Global Investors Summit on Monday.

Assam Business Conference Begins Tomorrow; 61 Ambassadors Arrive

A high-profile business conference is set to begin in Assam, with ambassadors from 61 countries arriving on Sunday. As part of the visit, they will tour Kaziranga National Park on Monday morning. PM Modi will arrive in Assam on Monday evening and inaugurate the two-day ‘Advantage Assam 2.0 Investment and Infrastructure Summit’ on Tuesday.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced that over 8,500 Assamese artists will perform the Jhumur dance to welcome PM Modi and the dignitaries, aiming to set a world record. External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar is leading the delegation of ambassadors on this visit.

CM Sarma clarified that this is not just a ceremonial visit but an effort to showcase Assam’s transformation. The goal is to assure international travelers of peace in Assam, encouraging them to lift travel advisories against the state. Australia recently withdrew its travel advisory, and Assam aims to see similar steps from other nations.

Ahead of the conference, the Assam Cabinet has approved investment proposals worth ₹1.22 lakh crore, signaling a major push for economic growth in the region.
