The company has undertaken the plantation of 35,000 saplings across its facilities and surrounding communities, further strengthening its long-term vision of environmental stewardship beyond a single day of action. What began as a simple initiative five years ago has now evolved into a sustained green drive aimed at restoring ecological balance, increasing green cover, and fostering community participation. The extensive plantation effort, spanning industrial, urban, and rural areas near SDBL’s production hubs, has been carried out in collaboration with employees, local authorities, and environmental volunteers.

Regular care and monitoring of the saplings will be maintained through partnerships with community stakeholders and SDBL’s internal green teams.
